My Mission

With an Associate’s degree in User Experience Design, I bring a foundation rooted in research, empathy, and systems thinking. Now pursuing my BFA in Communication Design at Texas State University, I’m expanding my practice with concentrations in Interactive Design (UX), Art Direction, and Typography, plus a studio focus in Printmaking. Bold ideas and a desire to create meaningful impact are what guide my work.

I’m on the lookout for junior UX design roles or internships where I can grow, collaborate, and help tackle real-world challenges through thoughtful, innovative solutions. My Design Philosophy

Human Centered Design

My design process begins and ends with people. I believe in the power of human-centered design, where every pixel, interaction, and decision is rooted in empathy. By putting users’ needs, motivations, and behaviors at the heart of the process, I aim to craft digital experiences that don’t just function well, but resonate, empower, and genuinely serve the people they’re built for.

Kindness

Kindness is the foundation of my design philosophy. It means leading with empathy, respecting every voice in the process, and infusing care into every interaction, whether digital or human. At its core, it’s about designing with intention to foster connection, trust, and meaningful experiences.

Error Prevention

In UX, even the smallest error can snowball into frustration; and that tension fascinates me. It’s what pulled me into studying error prevention through the lens of cognitive science. I design with precision and purpose, crafting interfaces that anticipate human behavior, minimize friction, and gently guide users toward clarity, confidence, and delight. This passion now drives Toward Errorless UX, a research model I’m developing to proactively prevent user errors through thoughtful, data-informed design.

Iterative Excellence

My work is a continuous journey of refinement, fueled by curiosity, reflection, and a commitment to excellence. Iteration isn’t just part of my process, it’s the heartbeat of my design philosophy, driving each decision I make with intention and care. Every design sprint, interaction, and challenge is an opportunity to learn, evolve, and push the boundaries of what great design can be, while deepening my understanding of people and the problems they face.

Form Follows Function

I believe function leads, and form follows with purpose. I ground my work in proven UX laws and intuitive UI patterns to craft solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but fundamentally effective. While aesthetics matter, true design excellence lies in clarity, utility, and seamless user interaction. My goal is to merge form and function into experiences that feel as good as they look.

Practical Fit

I take a pragmatic approach to design, focusing on what truly works for real people in real situations, grounded in empathy, observation, and practical outcomes. By building responsive and easy-to-use digital experiences, I strive to create universal solutions that meet users where they are, ensuring no one is left behind or overwhelmed.
